wake me up and keep me conscious

this series of images was created as part of a college assignment. we were asked to produce 4 portrait and 4 still life images, using studio lighting, where a certain connection was present between them. 

the body of work as a whole aims to represent a cycle in my life, one which i go through and experience quite frequently. there is a certain mood/emotion/time portrayed in each individual portrait, and the still life images i have produced aim to fullfil this mood/emotion/time through use of colour and presentation.
